All the art featured on this website is original. Most of the artwork featured on this website was acquired by Bryan Ansell through his association, management and ownership of Citadel Miniatures and Games Workshop during the 1980's through to 1991.

Warhammer, with its iconic Harry the Hammer cover illustrated by John Blanche, was written and published at Citadel in 1983 under the direction of Bryan. It is known worldwide as the game that launched the industry giant Games Workshop that is now worth £5 billion on the London stock exchange. 

In the 1980’s Bryan became the MD and majority shareholder of Games Workshop selling his shares in December 1991 to a management led buyout.
