Blue Dragon, Green Dragon & Great Fire Dragon (Set of 3)

This series of three illustrations was created by John Sibbick for a new range of Citadel dragons. 1987.

The Great Fire Dragon:

Featured on the box set  'DRAG4 Great Fire Dragon & Knight'

• First seen in White Dwarf 84 (December 1987) in a diorama by Colin Dixon where it was described as ”New Citadel Red Dragon”.
• The initial release advert (Jan 1987) in White Dwarf 85 (page 46) described it as ”Great Fire Dragon with Questing Knight”.
• The Great Fire Dragon was shown on the Taggart episode Gingerbread in 1993 along with other miniatures.
• The box artwork was attributed to John Sibbick in Illuminations from White Dwarf 83.

Blue Dragon:

Featured on the box set: 'DRAG2 Blue Dragon & Sorceress'.

• Described in the initial release advert (Jan 1987) in White Dwarf 85 (page 46) as ”Blue (Cobalt) Dragon with Evil Sorceress”.

Green Dragon:

Featured on the box set: 'DRAG3 Green Dragon & Dwarf'.

• Described in the initial release advert (Jan 1987) in White Dwarf 85 (page 46) as ”Green (Emerald) Dragon with Dwarf Treasure Hunter”.
